Ocular Manifestations Associated with Cerebral Vein Sinus Thrombosis Developing after SARS-CoV-2 Vaccination

Purpose: We report a case of neuroretinitis combined with external ophthalmoplegia in patient who developed cerebral venous sinus thrombosis after administration SARS-CoV-2 vaccine.Case summary: A 26-year-old woman was on oral contraceptives diagnosed 1 month the first injection vaccine (BNT162b2, Pfizer-BioNTech). After 10 months, improved to 0.9 Ocular motor function also improved. However, overall contraction field did not.Conclusions: vaccination can trigger thrombosis, neuroretinitis, ophthalmoplegia. In patients risk for such possibility ophthalmic complications should be considered vaccine.
